Weekly Standup Paddleboard and Kayak Lessons and Tours

 In addition to rentals, private instruction, and special paddle events, we also offer a full menu of weekly paddle classes, tours, and events. Read on below for a description of each!


 

BEGINNER PADDLEBOARD LESSONS
Monday- 5:30pm and Sunday 4:00pm in Beverly
In these scheduled group lessons, we focus on getting on the board, finding stability, maneuvering the board, and forward stroke efficiency. We also learn about water safety, awareness of potential hazards, and weather and ocean conditions. The group is maxed at 5 paddlers, so we are able to tailor the lesson to match the needs of the paddlers in the group!

SUNSET PADDLE TOURS
Tuesday 6pm in Salem
Join us for a beautiful evening paddle around Salem and Beverly Harbors. Launching from our Salem Willows kiosk, we’ll explore the rugged but scenic rocky coastlines of Salem Neck, Juniper Point, Winter Island and Collins Cove before paddling into Beverly Harbor to watch the sun set over the Danvers River! This tour is open to paddleboards and kayaks, and if you have your own, you can join at a discounted rate!

BEGINNER KAYAK LESSONS
Thursday- 6:oopm and Saturday 9:30am in Beverly
In these scheduled group lessons, we focus on proper fit in a kayak, efficient forward paddling, maneuvering of the kayak, and strategies for stability in rougher conditions. We also learn about water safety, awareness of potential hazards, and weather and ocean conditions. The group is maxed at 5 paddlers, so we are able to tailor the lesson to match the needs of the paddlers in the group!

SUP YOGA
Saturday- 9:00am in Beverly
Join us for a beautiful and restorative 90 minutes of yoga in one of the most beautiful “studios” you’ve ever seen! After a short paddle out, our certified SUP Yoga instructor Cynthia will help the class anchor down before leading you through a roughly hour yoga session. You’ll find it a fun and exciting challenge to perform all the poses you’re used to on a paddleboard, but Cynthia will show you how to adapt each pose so that you get an amazing workout while also lengthening and loosening your entire body!

OPEN PADDLE
Sunday- 9:00am in Beverly
Open Paddle is a great chance for your introduction to standup paddling, or if you’re the type of person that likes to get out on the water first thing on Sunday mornings. Just $10 and 45 minutes long, Open Paddle provides the opportunity to get on the water without investing a lot of time or money. While not a structured lesson, we do have instructors and guides on hand to help with any of your questions! Spaces usually fill fast, so book today!
