Standup Paddleboard and Kayak Rentals
Rent a standup paddleboard or kayak and explore the diverse paddling opportunities in Beverly, Danvers, and Salem. Whether you seek clear coastal waters, protected harbors, or meandering estuaries, we can help get you there. We offer convenient kiosk locations at both Salem Willows Park in Salem and Independence Park in Beverly, so you won’t have any worries about transporting boards or kayaks yourself. (Rentals are generally available from 10-6, 7 days a week as long as the weather is good. Reservations are not required, but are recommended. If you'd like to paddle outside of normal business hours, we're happy to get you out there! Just give us a call or email to reserve and we'll meet you anytime, sunrise to sunset!)
Our hourly and daily rates allow you to take charge of your paddling adventure. Grab a board or kayak for an hour or two for a quick but hard charging workout, or refresh your mind and body with a relaxing cruise up the coast. Half day and full day rentals allow more time to get away from the hectic pace of today’s world and reconnect with your friends and family, the environment, and yourselves.
We carry both sea kayaks and sit-on-top kayaks (SOT's) by Old Town Canoe (formerly Necky Kayaks).
Our SOT's make it easy for the first time paddler to get out on the water and enjoy an easy paddle on the water. At 13 feet in length and equipped with rudders, they are efficient and maneuverable. These are only available at our Salem Willows Kiosk and are perfect for exploring both Beverly and Salem Harbors.
Our sea kayaks allow you to travel farther faster so you can really start exploring our coastline. Available at our Beverly location, these are perfect for group tours or more experienced paddlers! Because sea kayaks are designed to be fast, they are narrower than sit on tops or recreational kayaks and thus slightly less stable for the inexperienced paddler. We use these primarily for our lessons and tours, but if you can demonstrate knowledge of kayak rescue techniques, we will happily rent them to you as well!
Give us a call to reserve your board or kayak and we’ll help you plan your adventure!
